Winemaking Style
Eminently approachable, even in its youth, Lafleur-Gazin is a delightful expression of the lighter style of Pomerol wines. Following a gentle and controlled maceration and extraction in thermo-regulated concrete and stainless-steel vats, the wine is aged between 16 and 18 months in the barrel with a maximum of 40% new oak depending on the vintage.
