“The name of this wine derives from the flower of the same name, "Potentilla". The name combines the Latin "potenza" for power with the diminutive form of "illa" creating defining the small flower with great power. This is a perfect name for this delicious Sauvignon from the historic Livo Felluga estate. Aromas of white peach, citrus oil and yellow flowers leap out of the glass. The palate is round and texture, due to oak aging, finishing with hints of nectarine, crushed rock and a touch of herb. Beautifully balanced this wine will age quiet well. Drink NOW.”

“Notes of lemongrass and mint mingle with flavors of lemon curd and white grapefruit in this rich, honeyed wine. It will show more of itself in a year or two.”

“Deep straw yellow. Lemony gooseberry nose with notes of orange and green apple and without the piercing grassiness this grape variety often shows in Friuli. Fresh and ripe white fruit with lemony zippiness. Classic Friuli Sauvignon Blanc but without the sharpness and greenness these wines used to have in the past.”

“Lychee fruit with kiwi and lemon undertones. Very fresh and bright aromas. Full-to medium-bodied with vivid acidity and a bright, tangy finish. Lime and some graphite come through. New single-vineyard wine from here. Drink now.”
